SCVNews.com | The gallery of fine arts settles in the city center of Valence

Dinner and a walk by the koi pond at The Patios in Valencia can now include a visit to the gallery and a chance to acquire some incredible works of art at J Sabry Fine Art.

Western art by artists whose works are in the Autry Museum or the National Cowboy Museum is on display.

And beautiful figurative art, street scenes and sports art with a few pieces signed by athletes including Muhammad Ali, Joe Namath and Dodgers Kirk Gibson line the walls. Etchings by Renoir and Rembrandt are among the artistic treasures you might see if you stop by.

Owners Joanne Watson and Michael Awad moved the gallery to Santa Clarita.

“Santa Clarita is a beautiful community and we hope to be of service with great art for residents and people who work in the area,” Watson said. “One of our areas of expertise is also western art and we know there is an appreciation for horses and western culture here so we thought this would be a good fit for us.”

Organizing live painting events and meet-and-greets with the artists is on the radar for the future.

The gallery is open to the public Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Private screenings can also be arranged upon request by calling (661) 505-7680 or emailing info@jsabryfineart.com.

Art 2The gallery is located at 24201 Valencia Blvd. Suite 3324 (near Wokano restaurant, next to Pandora Jewelers and two doors down from the koi pond).
