The City of Santa Clarita Arts Division invites people of all ages to experience the latest art exhibits in our community. Each exhibition is free and open to the public to enjoy throughout the spring. New art exhibits include:
– ‘Pampered Pets’ group show at Newhall Community Center (open until Monday 21st March).
– Student-Teacher Art Exhibition “ARTree – Creation of Creations” at the Old Town Newhall Library (on display from Monday 24 January to 15 April).
The new “Pampered Pets” gallery features the furry, feathered and scaly friends that can live in your home. Pets bring comfort, joy and certainly entertainment to any household. Each artwork shows the courage, attitude and personality of each pet. Be sure to wander around the exhibit and find your favorite pet. In addition to the in-person exhibition, the artworks can also be viewed in the online virtual gallery.
“ARTree – Creating Creations” is another local opportunity to enjoy unique art in multiple mediums crafted by the students and teachers of the non-profit art center ARTree. Launched in 2010 with a commitment to providing artistic opportunities for all ages and walks of life, ARTree has now developed deep roots in our community. Explore all of the artwork on display while enjoying light refreshments and music during the Art Reception on Wednesday, January 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All artwork can be viewed online as well only in the virtual gallery.
