Rochester Hills village gears up for outdoor art gallery

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – The Village of Rochester Hills will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery this weekend for the 18th annual Fine Arts at the Village Art Fair.

The outdoor art fair will open at 104 N. Adams Road at 10 a.m. Saturday and will run through Sunday evening and conclude at 6 p.m.

72 artists from across the United States (40 from Michigan) will showcase their artwork including ceramics, glass, paintings, drawings, multimedia, sculpture, photography, textile art , wood, jewelry and more.

Children will be able to participate in several storytelling events organized by Barnes & Noble during the art fair. Saturday story time will be at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday story time will be at noon and 2 p.m. and on Sunday.

Guests will also have the opportunity to search for hidden eggs in the art fair, which will contain $25 and $100 coupons that can only be used at participating artists’ booths.

The main street of the village will be closed during the art fair. Free and easily accessible parking is available throughout The Village shopping centre. The layout of the event makes it a spacious, attractive and flowing journey for art fair patrons.
