Inspire Entertainment opened a new performing arts center and a new school in Gilbert.
The 14,000 square foot building, located at 4469 E. Baseline Road, is home to seven large dance studio spaces, a preschool, cafe, recording studio and dancewear store.
“We have always believed in the arts,†said Michael Sackett, CEO of Inspire. “We’ve seen him transform people and inspire others to make a difference in the world. This new facility will allow us to do it on a bigger stage. “
Inspire rented space from Mesa and Gilbert for her classes. Now installed in its new premises, it continues to offer dance, music and theater lessons.
“We love doing business at Gilbert, so it’s a great place to expand our operations,†said Sackett. “It’s close to major established businesses and it’s also a great location just off 60 for our current and future studio families.â€
The company has experienced explosive growth since its establishment in the East Valley in March 2015, reaching more than 650 out of 75 students, according to Sackett.
The new building will allow the company to expand into the new location, capable of accommodating up to 1,200 students.
“We believe in building community, inspiring positivity and fostering hope in others,†said LaDawn Pettitt, President of Inspire. “We do this through our established programs in music, dance, theater, education and development for all ages.”
Inspire boasts its family-centered lifestyle that includes values-based training, modest costumes, age-appropriate music, and no training on Sundays.
“We’ve been planning this building for a year now,†Sackett said in a previous interview. “There will be a dedicated room for the tumbling space, one room for all of our classes we currently have, and additional classes we can add.”
Sackett said the new building will allow the company to expand into the new location, capable of accommodating up to 1,200 students.

The company also has a non-profit arm – Inspire: music.service.hope. Each year, a group of students goes on an international music service tour to developing countries like Puerto Plata, Colombia and Costa Rica, picking up supplies and carrying out service projects.
Sackett said the company plans to raise money to build a theater in the future.
“The sooner the better,†he said. “We hope for the next five years. Hope it won’t take us that long.
Inspire also offers a Fit Club, a music video production program and a preschool program focused on music, movement and the arts, while educating children aged 3 to 5. Other programs are added each year.
Fit Club is one of Inspire’s newer offerings. Program classes at the Gilbert location include yoga, cardio kickboxing, and adult tap dancing.
“The Fit Club classes for adults are popular,†said Sackett. “Our main goal is to train young people in the arts, but we also want to have offers for parents. If someone drops off their child, they can come to a fitness class and make their life easier. Bring the family to one place to do it all.
