Elon’s performing arts department is housed in the Center for the Arts, Scott Studios and Needham Pilates Studio. The Arts Center is home to three performance halls, three dance studios, modular practice rooms and studios, set and costume shops, a Pilates studio and much more. Scott Studios is home to the Roberts Studio Theater, our largest dance studio, several practice rooms and stores. The Needham Pilates studio is located in the Koury Sports Center and features a range of Pilates equipment including reformers, chairs, ladder barrels, towers and cadillac tables.
Arts Center
The Center for the Arts is a 75,000 square foot facility purpose-built for a learning-centric environment and state-of-the-art performance spaces with the latest technological resources.

The centerpiece is the McCrary Theatre, a large fully equipped theater and concert hall.
The 125-seat Yeager Recital Hall offers a more intimate setting as well as digital recording capabilities.
100-seat performance space for student work, designed for flexibility and range of spatial configurations, audience seating and innovative stage design
Designated and active space where costumes are made and stored for our seasonal productions. Our teachers, staff, and student costumers and technicians perform their work here.
Studio A – Three spacious dance studios with state-of-the-art sound equipment, curtains, mirrors and bars. All three studios have suspended floors, two with Marley and one wooden floor, allowing for a range of dance styles
Scott Studios
Our newest facility is the 13,500 square foot Scott Studios, home to the Roberts Studio Theater, a large dance studio, several practice rooms and retail stores.
Scott Studios supports Elon’s nationally recognized performing arts programs and includes the Roberts Studio Theater, a large dance rehearsal room and a suite of smaller rehearsal studios.

Pilates studio in Needham
As well as providing a much larger space dedicated to the practice of Pilates, the Needham Studio includes a range of equipment including reformers, chairs, ladder barrels, lathes and Cadillac tables.
