
KFAR Jewish Arts Center is accepting applications for part-time internships for Summer and/or Fall 2010. Ideal candidates will be college students or recent graduates.
General Overview KFAR Jewish Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides an outlet for contemporary Jewish cultural expression in Chicago, stimulates its creation and advocates for its inclusion at mainstream cultural institutions. In its eight years of existence, KFAR has presented hundreds of programs that focus on contemporary trends and developments and has been repeatedly featured in the press. KFAR is synonymous with cutting-edge Jewish culture in Chicago.
Position Description Interns will assist the Executive Director in various functions and capacities in the
running of the organization, including Marketing and PR, donor acknowledgment and other aspects of Arts Administration. Candidates must have interest in and basic knowledge of Jewish culture, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently. Internships are unpaid, but not without
perks.
