Tim Monaghan, drummer for our pals GOLEM, is in serious condition after being found unconscious in the stairwell of a Brooklyn loft building.  He underwent emergency surgery to relieve bleeding in the brain.  Like so many musicians, Tim is uninsured. Hell, musicians can barely make a living. And as a musician playing Jewish music? Puh-lease. A relief fund has been set up to help defray Tim's mounting expenses.

Tim Monaghan in Recovery
Unfortunate news: our beloved drummer Tim has had a terrible accident and is in intensive care for brain trauma. The entire Golem family is praying for his full and speedy recovery. Like many musicians and artists, he has no health insurance. If you can, please donate to the fund we have set up to help Tim and his family at this difficult time. Our hearts are bleeding, and  we cannot wait to wake up from this nightmare. The shows listed below will go on to rouse our spirits and raise funds for Tim.  Tim's Fund information page

From Golem's website: Tim is from New Haven, CT and has lived in New York for three years. He began as a classical pianist, making the switch to drums in high school.  He currently attends the New School, studying jazz with such masters as Billy Hart, Buster Williams, and Gerry Hemingway. Tim performs music from numerous countries and styles, from rock band Jack to jazz/rock/musical debauchery with Rickshaw Mama, as well as leading the improv noise band the Roars.
