Program Overviews

S.H.E.M.A. implements synagogue-based cultural arts programs that combine community-building and exploration of contemporary Jewish expression. The initiative is comprised of five modules that borrow from KFAR’s existing programs, adapting them for use in the congregational setting.

The components “stack” for an integrated programming solution that can also be used in a stand-alone fashion or to interface with existing initiatives. The modules engage members on multiple levels, developing an arts affinity group within the community that can in turn enrich congregational life. Click for info.
