Conversations, Connections and Culture are a set of monthly
salons, held in cafes, congregations and private homes.
These Conversations are a great way to make new friends from KFAR's
arts community beyond the temporal confines and environmental
hurdles of concert programs. These salons provide a means to
discuss specific subjects, share news and developments from the
Jewish arts world.
Each gathering lasts about 2 hours and generally consists of:
1. Schmooze and News - Social time followed Jewish Arts and Culture
news
2. Topical discussion - Staff or guest artists lead a cultural
topic for group discussion
3. Hands-On - Ideation for shaping the Jewish arts scene locally
via KFAR
4. Ears and Cheers (Listening party and libation)- Each lively
hour-long discussion includes topic background and materials, a
moderated discussion led by an artist or member of KFAR's staff and
is followed by socializing and conversation.
Join us for a Conversation, or
contact us to host one
at your congregation.
