Conversations on Contemporary Jewish Culture are a set of salons-like gathering where we discuss trends, issues and developments in contemporary Jewish culture.
Capped at 20 participants, the purpose of these events is 3 fold:
• Develop and share knowledge of contemporary Jewish arts and culture
• Discover new ways to connect to Jewish identity
• Build relationships between arts-oriented members of the community
Each session revolves around a specific topic or curriculum, discussion and samples of the material at hand, plus a question and answer session followed by light schmooze.
An added benefit is a sense of micro-community and friendship that develops through shared knowledge and interaction at these Conversations- participants get to know Jewish culture a little better, and one another, too.
