Global Groove Chicago and KFAR present Marbin.

Formed in Israel in June 2007 by guitarist Dani Rabin and saxophonist Danny Markovitch, the duo’s hallmark is a lush, multi-layered approach to compositions that creates a surprisingly rich sonic landscape.

Marbin’s self titled debut album received praise from All About Jazz, The Examiner, CD Baby ‘Editor’s Pick’ and The Jazz Police. This performance features 7 time Grammy winner Paul Wertico, with whom they collaborated on his critically acclaimed record Impressions of a City. The record received a 4.5 star rating from Downbeat Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Drum! Magazine, A.V Onion Club and Modern Drummer.
