Event Description

Celebrate with Mayor Elect Rahm Emanuel and others at the Downtown Seder.

We are proud to announce the first Downtown Seder in Chicago!

Why Is This Seder Different From All Other Seders?

-Because this takes place a few days before Passover even begins, so you can be with your family or other friends for the actual Seder;

-Because at this Seder, 20 artists, musicians, actors, political figures, comedians, and thinkers will offer one-of-a-kind interpretations of the ancient Passover story;

-Because at this Seder, you will sit, eat, laugh, cry, and be inspired to bring home the souvenir Haggadah for your own Seder

-Because the Seder can transcend the Jewish tradition with its many relevant and important messages which will connect us to the on-going struggles of freedom around the globe.
