Event Description


Lyrics appropriating Mt. Zion, Jerusalem and other Jewish imagery permeate reggae and Rastafarian culture.  But it doesnt end there.  The connection between Judaism and Jamaica’s most famous export go much deeper than most people realize.

So what's the connection between these two cultures? What can we learn from Rastas about our own Judaism? And what does Jewish reggae sound like?  Here's a hint- there's more than a pop star in a big black hat in this movement of Jah people!
