  for the Radical Jewish Culture series on John Zorn’s Tzadik label. 
 In this piece, based on erotic love poetry drawn from the scriptural t
 exts of the \"Song of Solomon\" or \"Song of Songs,\" she expands on t
 he sensuous thrust of her lyrics about the struggles of a woman in lov
 e with a multimedia experience combining movement and a rich tapestry 
 of projected video imagery. Gottlieb composed the song cycle to 10 seg
 ments of the text and presents it in its original Hebrew. In Song of S
 ongs, Ayelet found an incredible work of poetry about love, a human se
 ntiment that surely incorporates the full color range of emotions. Sup
 ported by three other singers and a unique lineup of clarinet, piano, 
 cello, and drums, Gottlieb will entrance you with her stunning voiceâ€
 ”and the sensitive framing and remarkable jazz chops this outstanding
